By Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar, 9:35AM, Thu. Sep. 2, 2010

School’s in session for the Totescast, as Richard Whittaker stops by to discuss his exit interview with Louis Malfaro, who’s leaving Education Austin after 11 years as union boss. We also get brought up to speed on Formula 1 racing’s newly unveiled track design.
Next up, we turn to the city utilities, and the arguments swirling around Austin Water and Austin Energy as budget season starts circling the drain. Lastly, we get a criminal justice update as police lineup procedures receive a hearing, and former APD officer Leonardo Quintana asks for his job back. As always, Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar are standing by with the Breathalyzers.
