Call the Cops! It's the Totally Awesome AusChron Newscast!
Lotsa cop shop talk
By Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar, 12:05AM, Thu. Apr. 29, 2010

Good thing the Totescast doesn't have any warrants, because there's a mess of police business on our agenda this week. First up, a breakdown of the arbitration hearing of Internal Affairs cop Chris Dunn, and its implications on the broader IA investigation triggered by the Nathaniel Sanders II shooting.
Then it's onto a brief discussion of APD chief Art Acevedo's decision to forsake Dallas' desirous advances to stay in Austin. Then lastly, a recap of the last week's City Council drama in adopting Austin Energy's climate protection and generation plan, including some cut-rate Carole Keeton Strayhorn impersonations. As always, Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar are your totally awesome hosts.
