The Totescast is back for 2010, with a jam-packed download detailing next week's City Council items and the crush of upcoming primary elections.
Up first, a preview of Jan. 14's council meeting, including the possible creation of a new commander position in the Austin Police Department for lieutenant Wayne Demoss, initially passed over for promotion by chief Art Acevedo once it came out he visited a Panamanian brothel on vacation. Then it's on to the deluge of last-minute filings in this March's primaries, including races in the Texas House, State Board of Education, local courthouses and elsewhere, as detailed by Richard Whittaker.
