By Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar, 12:01AM, Thu. Apr. 1, 2010

We always heard the real rancor was in board and commission appointments. It's true, we swear! This week, the Totescast delves into controversy surrounding the City Council's appointment process for a task force overseeing the November transportation bond package.
Then, we're filled in on Nona Allen's lawsuit against the Austin Fire Department alleging gender discrimination. There's the Supreme Court-led stay of execution of Texas death row inmate Hank Skinner, no thanks to Rick Perry. And lastly, a reminder about the upcoming run-off election between Karen Sage and Mindy Montford: Time to vote again! As always, Jordan Smith and Wells Dunbar are your totally awesome hosts.
