'Klown' Gets Green Band Trailer
Drafthouse Films latest goes SFW-ish

Drafthouse Films isn't fooling around when it comes to distributing Danish comedy Klown, but they must be kidding to give the R-rated comedy an all-ages trailer.
The wholly (and hole-y) NSFW red band trailer for the spin-off from cult TV show Klovn dropped last month. Seriously, NSFW. Now there's a much more family friendly promo for the film that won the best comedy award at Fantastic Fest 2011.
It's busy times for the nascent Drafthouse Films: The super-gonzo dance-dance-apocalypse The FP hits DVD and Blu-Ray this week, followed next week by Oscar-nominated crime drama Bullhead. There's only a brief rest before Klown hits iTunes and VOD platforms on July 27 (don't worry, oh collectors of material objects, the Blu-Ray is due in September), but the Alamo already has two special local screenings lined up. Stars Frank Hvam and Casper Christensen will be in town for a late night showing on June 29, followed on June 30 by a canoe-powered Rolling Roadshow.
That may be your best chance to catch the original before the inevitable remake, coming to you from Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down) and Todd Philips (The Hangover).
