City Council Member Mike Martinez is anticipating the rawk at City Hall this afternoon, with rumors he's got a cold Lone Star waiting for whoever wants one. Band of Heathens is playing there at 1pm today.
We heard the news via e-mail, the subject line being "Band of Heathens at City Hall Friday." As our own Lee Nichols put it, "Boy, that subject line just makes its own joke, doesn't it? "
