La Lotería Unveiling

Crowds gathered Saturday, August 1, to see the newly unveiled La Lotería mural. The almost 30-year-old symbol of Latino heritage on the Eastside was painted over as part of South by Southwest's Impossible Wall Project in February per the Cycleast owner's request. A grant from South by Southwest funded the new restoration of the original mural.
