Searching for the Emporium in Dazed & Confused? Look no further than this longtime pool hall, which looks like it just stepped out of the Seventies. Thanks to Ben Tipton and Burger City Rock N Roll, as well as a few castoffs from the now-defunct Trailer Space, the club’s also become a formidable outpost for fans of fuzzed-out rock and punk – if you can get past the makeshift sound system. The Grand sports no semblance of cover charges, routinely offers wildly cheap beer specials, and is no stranger to opening up its many, many pool tables for free playing on off nights.
