Ode to a Dallas Doll & the Bearded Ones
Morgan Fairchild & ZZ Top get their props.

Morgan Fairchild was honored last night at the Texas Film Hall of Fame. Her speech was gracious, and she is a stunner.
I wish I could report more, but I was running around like a nut trying to deliver a backstage pass for my buddy and charge, Stephen McMo. The only thing I remember about her speech was her Frank Beard/ZZ Top revelation, but Joe beat me to blogging about it. ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, whose delicious rich baritone dripped Texas throughout his acceptance speech, was quick to clarify that Morgan actually came to see him.
