Wizard World confirms first Austin guests
By Richard Whittaker, 4:37PM, Fri. Jan. 29, 2010

It may be ten months away, but Wizard World has already announced three special guests for the Austin leg of their pop culture convention.
Ernie Hudson (best known as the fourth Ghostbuster and Warden Glyn from HBO's Oz) will be there, as will Luciana Carro (Viper pilot Louanne "Kat" Katraine from Battlestar Galactica and now Pyrah in Caprica.) For comics fans, the big name is Gary Friedrich. A veteran writer from the classic Stan Lee's bullpen era at Marvel Comics, he worked on most of the big titles from the House of Ideas (Captain America, Iron Man, X-Men and Daredevil) as well as their horror line (Tower of Shadows, Frankenstein, Books of the Dead.) Yet he will always be best remembered as the man that created both the horse-riding Carter Slade and bike-riding Johnny Blaze incarnations of Ghost Rider.
More names as we get them.
