Scissor Sisters Aftershow: You're Invited

Scissor Sisters Aftershow: You're Invited

Okay, folks: Running game. The Chronicle's Gay Place will buy whoever bags Jake Shears drinks for a year. Are we kidding? Well, that depends if you have video. Knotwhutimsaaaaayin'?!?

We at the Gay Place are a nerdy bunch: We follow media. We read blog round-ups, newspapers, and < gasp > books. Some of us even teach.

But guhrl, please believe we also know how to let down our hurz.

In that spirit, the Gay Place is teaming up with our dear friend and frequent GP contributor theGlitoris and DJ Dawson from the dirtysexyskanky and monthly Bathhouse parties to offer up an after hours like no other.

Sunday, April 3, Barbarella at Red River & 7th will play host to Filthy Gorgeous: the Scissor Sisters Aftershow. This party is entirely free with a ticket stub and/or wristband from the show (and only $3 otherwise).

After Jake, Baby, Ana, and co. finish their epic Stubb's set, mosey on down a block and pop inside for a drink or 10 (you have a driver, of course). La Glit and DJ Dawson will be playing tunes to make you forget you're dancing all night before the work week.

Please trust: Tragedy will be in abundance.

RSVP to the clam bake on the Facebook page, y'all, and tell your friends where and when the mess will be.

Even if Scissor Sisters aren't in your evening plans, this party will be cray cray. So very cray cray.
