This week's example of true courage: 14-year-old Graeme Taylor, an openly gay Ann Arbor student, spoke out at his high school's board meeting after his teacher was disciplined for siding with the kids in purple. (Click "More" to see video.)
In other news, Out mag released their big list. Ricky Martin, the most inconsequential of Out's Hot 100 got the top billing somehow, under the banner of "Entertainer of the Year." Seriously?
Is it coincidence that these C-list stars come out at the exact peak of their who-cares-factor? This was a well orchestrated reveal of something we all already knew. Big deal. Yeah, he came out, but it's a case of too little, too late.
The big news from this reveal is the inclusion of Austin director PJ Raval. He bangs. That's more like it, Out.
