A bum shoulder took Chaim Topol out of the traveling production of Fiddler on the Roof, but the announcement of his replacement is an early Hannukah present wait for it wait for it wait for it HARVEY FIERSTEIN!
That's Mr. Torch Song if you're nasty and have a homophobic mother figure in your life. My love for Harvey Fierstein is based on the interests we share in common: The arts, boys, and circumcised schmekels. I know the production isn't until March, but I'm already excited. Epic win for queers, Jews, and anyone with a gravel-y voice in Austin.
