Sure, it's a bummer that the grand procession of City Council forums has largely ground to a halt. But you an relive the magic online – the Hustle shares how after the jump.
The League of Women Voters' forums for the Place 1, 3 and 4 races are now collected on the city's website for your viewing pleasure.
Moreover, the city has also compiled the video statements made by individual candidates. It's a valuable insight for providing insight to candidates who weren't such a regular presence on the campaign trail, like “Stormin'” Norman Jacobson, for instance. Here, the elusive candidate sounds off:
Elsewhere online: the city's Speak Up Austin portal is now soliciting input on the city budget. Go there and say your piece. With no regular City Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, that gang holds their budget work session that day at 3pm.
