The Austin Humane Society will kick off the Home for the Holidays Adoption Campaign with is fifth shelter sleepover for employees and volunteers Thursday night.
That event will be followed this weekend with an adoption extravaganza: $20 adoption fees for all cats and dogs all weekend long. (The shelter is open 12-7p on Friday and Saturday, and from 12-5p on Sunday.)
The lowered adoption fees are a part of the AHS' goal of emptying the shelter in time for Christmas. The adoption fees cover spay/neuter, microchip, dewormer, vaccinations, a free month of pet insurance, and goodie bags!
Check out the AHS for more information.
