    Auspop: Soap Creek Saloon's 50th Anniversary

    The Austin Museum of Popular Culture celebrates the 50th anniversary of Soap Creek Saloon, the "little honky tonk in the hills that made a big impact on Austin music culture" when it opened back in 1973, and you are invited to attend. Live music? Naturally: Trip Trio and Shawn Sahm will be bringing the tunes. Memories yet green? A whole lawnful of 'em, and waiting for you with storied arms – right across from Austin Chronicle HQ, even.
