Council Candidates' Campaign Finance Reports

First campaign finance reports hit the City Clerk's office

Posted here are snapshots of the initial campaign finance reports filed in the five City Council races to be decided November 8, 2016. The first reporting period covers Jan. 1 to June 30; reports were due in the city clerk's office by 5pm July 15. The figures listed here are taken directly from those reports. "Raised" includes only contributions; "Loans" includes loans compiled on the July 15 campaign finance report (which may include self-loans from personal funds or from other parties); "On-Hand" totals include dollars raised through contributions or loans and held as of July 15. (Totals are rounded to the nearest dollar.)

*Note: CM Casar also filed a report covering some legal expenses related to the ongoing election contest in the 2014 race filed by defeated candidate Laura Pressley. CM Zimmerman also filed CFRs reporting "legal defense" funds and an officeholders account (neither itemized here). In District 10, declared candidate Alison Alter did not file a CFR, as she declared for the office after the June 30 filing deadline.
