A local quintet going by Woodgrain, an EP titled War Orbit, and a galactic centaur as art: massive rock music ardor is self-evident. At six overstuffed songs it can feel like an odyssey, though "Milk of Titans" shows off slashing guitars and a double-bass-drum beat-down with all the drama of DragonForce. Side two irons the butterfly with more lava lamp tones.
