The Apple Trio

The Apple Trio picked the right year to deliver its eponymous debut. The homegrown chamber pop trio from McCallum Fine Arts Academy combines cellist Diana Burgess of Mother Falcon with Caiti Coughlan on viola and Olivia Erwin on violin. Their airy tunes are red-ripe and sweet, composers Burgess and Coughlan exhibiting a charming lack of guile or artifice ("Raindrops," "Could I?").
