Fifteen dollars gets you in the door at Momo's and a year's worth of visual stimulation as the Austin Music Foundation unveils its annual She Rocks calendar on Saturday with performances from poster child Hope Irish, Full Stride, Shelly Knight & the Livin' Dead, and Velvet Brick. 2008 pinups include Patrice Pike, Sabbath Crow's Kristin Bybee, the Applicators, and Kristina Recla of the Action Is, all of whom will be on hand at Momo's and also at an encore showing at Elysium with Black Molly and Lady Legacy on Nov. 8. On Monday, AMF presents Tastemakers and Trendsetters: Insider Info From Music Media Icons, the 35th installment of its Music Industry Boot Camp seminar series at the Mohawk, led by the Chronicle's Raoul Hernandez and Andy Langer, along with Spin's Michael Endelman. Stay tuned for part two of the series, How to Avoid a Two-Star Review.
