Marvin Williams was a teaching assistant with Sterling at UT. He lives in Houston.

John Cale co-founded the Velvet Underground with Morrison and Lou Reed. He lives in New York.

Bill Bentley played in the Bizarros with Sterling during his UT days. He lives in Los Angeles.

Stewart Wise edited the punk-era fanzine Contempo Culture and knew Sterling on the scene in Austin and in Houston. Lives in Austin.

Lou Reed In the Velvet Underground until the demise of the band. He lives on Long Island.
