Where the Girls Go/ATX: Make-It-Last Edition
Yer best bets to find the QTs of ATX all weekend long

Not the Last Edition, the Make-It-Last Edition. Every now and then, the weekend rolls around, and all I can think is: Please don’t end. But there’s a trick to never-ending weekends. They require a wide range of events, day drinking, lying in the grass, copious amounts of friends, and cute queer watching. Together, let's make it last all weekend long.
Friday: Be enthralled tonight at Cosmicomics – an aerial theater production with "the aesthetics of silent film, commedia dell’arte, and turn-of-the-century circus arts to tell stories of climbing ladders to the moon, the love-life of the last living dinosaur, and why the ultimate answer to the question, 'Why are we here?' just might be 'pasta.'" Who doesn't want to climb ladders to the moon?!
Suggestion: Do something different tonight.
Saturday: Have car will travel? It’s Dallas’ very first Queerbomb takeover tonight. Consider supporting other Texas queers in a city that needs a helping hand. There’s strength (and fabulousness) in large numbers.
On the flip side – stay local and catch the lady-fronted folk rockers taking over Cheer Up Charlie’s tonight. Lineup includes Raina Rose, The Deer, Carry Illinois.
Suggestion: Whatever you do, do it with friends.
Sunday: Lie down on the grass tonight at the French Legation Museum. Cinema East is once again taking over the not-so-small lawn to screen Approaching the Elephant. Queers, beers, and… cheers!
Suggestion: Bring cash for donation, bring beer for drinking.
See you next weekend, lovers for the red, white, and queer edition.
A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene. Now more than ever, we need your support to continue supplying Austin with independent, free press. If real news is important to you, please consider making a donation of $5, $10 or whatever you can afford, to help keep our journalism on stands.
