Dear Editor,
Oh my God – I'm perusing the recent Chronicle, and I scan over the article [“APD Pot-Hunters Are Data-Mining at AE,” News, Nov. 16] covering Austin Energy's highly suspect relationship with an Austin drug cop when I notice that the blown-up e-mail has my name as the recipient. Holy stolen identity, what the hell is this? It's bad enough that someone out there has taken your name, but when the joker drags it through knee-deep mud with bad, bad, behavior what's the innocent man supposed to do? Stand up and shout "It ain't me babe." I'm the film editor; trash me for botching your million-dollar baby, but this kind of publicity will ruin my reputation. I'm on your side, Travis Colby.
