One Thing Clear: Novak Exposed Identity

RECEIVED Mon., Dec. 6, 2004

Dear Editor,
I have been following this investigation [Valerie Plume] which is moving along like a thundering herd of turtles. Go figure. No matter the outcome or nonoutcome of the investigation, one thing is perfectly clear, that "beacon of integrity" named Robert Novak did expose a CIA undercover agent's identity to the world thereby possibly compromising her safety, that of her contacts, and national security. Where was John Ashcroft or the FBI? If this is not a clear-cut, unrepentant example of treason against America then there is no such offense. Novak should already be warming a federal prison cell right next to Aldrich Ames.
