Stars Return Home Down Two

Game 3 a must-win for Texas

Stars Return Home Down Two

The Texas Stars have dropped games 1 and 2 of the American Hockey League's Western Conference Finals in Ontario to the Hamilton Bulldogs and return home to the Cedar Park Center for games 3-5 (game 5 if necessary) starting Wednesday night. Game 3 is a must-win for the Stars if they hope to move on to the Calder Cup Finals.

Texas lost game 1 in overtime 3-2 and fell 3-1 to the Bulldogs in game 2. Let's hope the friendly confines of the gorgeous Cedar Park Center get the Stars back on the winning track.

These could be your last few chances to see Texas play in their inaugural season so get your tickets now (but let's hope the Stars advance past the Bulldogs and keep their playoff run alive).

Fans are encouraged to wear white in support of the Stars and can indulge in $2 drafts and $1 hot dogs during games 3 and 4.

Vs. Hamilton: Wed., May 19, 7:30pm; Fri., May 21, 7:30pm; Sat., May 22, 7pm (if necessary). Cedar Park Center, 2100 Avenue of the Stars, Cedar Park, 512/GO-STARS. $9-50.
