Where the Girls Go/ATX: Get Freaky Edition
The creepiest, queerest & grrrl-filled events all weekend.

Happy Halloween, bois and grrrls! We’ve been counting down the days, carving pumpkins, perfecting costumes, and today, All Hallows Eve is finally here! Which basically means horror-tastic queer parties, costumes, and candy. What more could a ghoul want in a weekend? So don your sexy/ironic kitten+carrot+skeleton costume and come out to play.
Friday: The terrifying and tantalizing Christeene is at it again. Along with JJ Booya, the hellish pair are turning North Door into a hellish queer ball. Sounds heavenly, no?
Suggestion: Sadly, presale tickets are done, so bring cash for the door, and get ready for a ghastly good time.
Saturday: Tonight was predetermined as soon as the words "Warriors Theme Party" registered. A party based on this (cult) classic 1979 movie couldn't make a grrrl happier. Until I realized it's also BLXPLTN's CD Release.
Suggestion: If you haven't seen this movie, drop everything, get to I Luv Video, and rent the damn thing. Otherwise, you'll never understand why everyone's saying "come out and plaaaYayyy."
Sunday: Another Sunday, another action packed day. During daylight hours, queer indie rocker, Kristen Ford is playing a few songs at Bookwoman, and Allgo is hosting their annual Día de los Muertos Celebration and Krewe du Bisoux presents their annual Day of the Dead Procession.
When all that wraps, strip down to those short shorts one last time before autumn really sets in, and make your way to Rain. We'll be there with BEB, DJ Divorcée, and Kitty Buick for a booty poppin', jello wrestlin' hextravaganza.
Suggestion: Come wrestle, come dance, come out. It's Halloween weekend after all.
Need even more gay? That's what The Gay Place is for. And we look forward to getting freaky with you all weekend long. Happy Halloween, bbs.
