aGLIFF Party Exclusives

The Austin Gay Lesbian International Film Festival was kind enough to get these party-details before sharing them with anyone else. We've listed price details as we have them, but call or check the aGLIFF site for specifics.

This year's fest? Over 120 films from 17 countries, Wed.-Sun., Sept. 3-7 at the Alamo Ritz Downtown.

Mark your calendars, especially for these fiestas:


Launch Party
Food by Starlite, the Woodland, and Lambert’s. Signature cocktail by 42 Below. Austin's own Kellye Gray performing a special night of film themes and jazz standards. Kellye's just returned from West Coast and Eastern European tours.
Tue., Sept. 2, midnight, Club de Ville, $10, free for badge holders.

Opening Night Reception
After the film, swing by Club Popular, OCH's special night for special people.
Wed., Sept. 3, 12mid-2am, Oilcan Harry’s.

VIP Lounge
See. Be seen. Your VIPness.
Thu., Sept. 4, 12mid-2am, Oilcan Harry’s.

Centerpiece Film Party
Live music, food, drank, ent. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the box office.
Fri., Sept. 5, 9:30pm-12mid, upstairs at 604 E. Sixth. Free for badge holders.

Afterparty
Dance. Your. Film-lovin' ass. Off.
Fri., Sept. 5, 12mid-?, Oilcan Harry’s. Badge holders enjoy VIP status.

aGLIFF 21 Host Bar
Big movie night, hence big party night.
Sat., Sept. 6, 12mid-?, Oilcan Harry’s. Badge holders enjoy VIP status.

Closing Night Party
Sponsored by 42 Below Vodka and the Austin Community College Programs of Hospitality, Event Planning, Travel & Tourism and Culinary Arts.
Sun., Sept. 7, 10pm-12mid, Arthouse at the Jones Center. Free for badge holders.
