NOLA Gay, Too

For those with an appetite, the Clover Grill is the place for eye candy and good eatin' in the French Quarter's gay district.

Just like that line in Dazed & Confused when cute nerd Tony says, "Nothing like piling on old pancakes and syrup after a night of beer drinking," the world-famous Clover Grill in New Orleans is conveniently located just a stumble away from the madness on Bourbon Street, right in the heart of the French Quarter's gay district, across the street from the oldest gay bar in the USA.

Well, the Clover might not serve pancakes, but their 24-hour breakfast specialties include their deeelish waffles and insanely cumulo-nimbusy omelets. The real treat, however, is in the people watching. And grill cook watching. These are masters at their craft. Half-pound hamburgers are cooked under hubcaps, and omelets are flipped with panache. Sometimes, you'll even get a little dance.
