The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is the prestigious rock ensemble of talented singers, dancers, and musicians known for their symphonic recordings and dazzling stage shows. Eighteen-year-old former Austinite Georgia Napolitano recently joined its cast.
“The auditions were quite scary, not going to lie," she exclaims. "I just knew that I had to go in, be myself, and share my voice and heart with everyone. I gave them my all.”
As a result, Napolitano landed a spot as a lead vocalist and dancer. The tour starts Nov. 3, and there is a total of about 70 shows, including a stop at the Erwin Center on Dec. 3.
“I have started rehearsals. There is nothing better than extremely long days full of singing and dancing. I’m living my dream, and sometimes I have to pinch myself!
“Once you’re involved it’s really like having a second family. Everyone is so, so kind and very talented. I’m most excited to know that every day I will be getting on an amazing stage and will be able to connect with such amazing fans! Also just to create these incredible relationships with everyone involved in the tour.
"It really is a dream come true!”
