Yes, you know Live Fire! – it’s that annual culinary celebration, the big springtime party that showcases the best of open-flame cooking, premium wine and beer, and exemplary cocktail craft, right? You bet your sizzling grill marks it is, foodie! And for 2024’s edition (on Thursday, April 11, 6:30-9pm), TFWA will be highlighting global culinary traditions, with a dynamic array of award-winning chefs from across the Lone Star State firing up a plethora of Texas beef and more – with innovative bites cooked right there and ready for your gustatory pleasure.

And who are these “award-winning chefs” who’ll be sending your palate to paradise with every nom of tender deliciousness? TFWA’s recent announcement, although it already rather blows us away, notes that this is just the start – with even more to come:

Yes, yes, we know: “Shut up and take my money,” right?

Okay, then: Here’s the direct link for tickets to this mouthwatering event.

NOTE: In addition to the fiery grand tasting, the 2024 edition of Live Fire! also offers an exclusive VIP experience. The Live Fire! Steakhouse “will transport guests to a midcentury supper club, complete with cocktail carts and flaming desserts, featuring chefs Andy Knudson of All Pro Smokeshow, John Bates of Interstellar BBQ, and special guests to be announced.”

Oh, and, yes: The good folks of Texas Food and Wine Alliance also reckon you’ll be interested in meeting Rick Bayless, that legendary Top Chef Master with so many acclaimed restaurants across the country, when he’s in town with his new book – at Nixta Taqueria! – on Tuesday, March 12. Totally understandable. And here’s where you can reserve tickets.
