Gay Place

If black people freak you out, don't bother reading ...

SPLASH EAST Tell you what, Austin: If Texas Relays freaks you out, just stop reading right now, 'cause the party in Houston this weekend is not only black, very black, it is gay. Very gay. Houston Splash (www.houstonsplash.com), people. How gay? Jennifer Hudson and Robin Thicke at the Reliant gay. Bailout Ball gay. Strip-downs, underwear fashion shows, Good Girls Gone Bad gay. And, to top it all off, a progressive church service in Houston that heads down to the infamous beach party on Galveston Island on Sunday gay. That's how gay. And how black. And how! Let me (Kate) tell you: I have never been to more exciting and fun gay events than the black Pride events I have attended in H-town and G-town. Austin could learn a li'l somethin'. Road trip, anyone?
