You Can Make A Difference!

You can make a difference in the continuing battle against AIDS in our community. You can make a difference by giving of the most important resource you have... your time and yourself.

Our volunteers meet with clients one-to-one to provide friendship, companionship, support, outings, shopping trips, playing cards, going out to eat, playing with pets, helping with children, talking, and many other things. Some folks need some basic assistance with housework, running errands, grocery shopping, laundry, and the other routine tasks of daily living.

We ask our volunteers to have about six hours available to be with your new friend.

The Buddy/Helper Program is designed to provide our volunteers with training, continuing educational information, follow-up support, and team networking.

If you are interested in this volunteer opportunity, please call ASA Volunteer Services at 406-6150 or 451-2273. A General Orientation session is scheduled soon; call to find out when.
