Because they know that's the key. The show is about the sublime and the ridiculous, an hour-long package of nifty treats and oddball amazements. Footage of Stanley Kubrick at work mixes with home movies of drunken hillbillies; Orson Welles, Corey Feldman, Bill Hicks, and a woman crushing beer cans with her breasts all have their glorious and/or dubious moments in the spotlight. You never know for certain what may unfold between the planned and the unplanned on The Show With No Name, but its eclectic Sunday-night brew is the perfect way to easeoneself into the rude return of the working week.
