Austin’s Movement Collective continues curating Romanian minimalists with Cristi Tudorache. As Melodie, the producer/DJ represents the housier side of his country’s growling, bassline-driven house and techno. Contrasting classical sounds from compatriots like Petre Inspirescu, Raresh, and Rhadoo – each helping lay the foundation of Tudorache’s genre in their Southeastern European enclave – expect deep, thumping bass, micro slices of crunching synth, and acid squelches. Location reveal accompanies ticket purchase.

The Huntress and Holder of Hands opens with 2017’s gorgeously dark debut Avalon, MorganEve Swain (Brown Bird) regrouping with an emotive string quintet after her husband’s passing.
