City keeps hitting the snooze button

The scene inside City Hall
The scene inside City Hall

It's another slow day as the city awakes from its three day weekend. (The Hustle's was very nice, thanks for asking: grilling and fireworks, capped by a viewing of Basic Instinct.)

Board and commission highlights below the fold.

What the hell else is happening?

On the city calendar: The MBE/WBE and Small Business Enterprise Procurement Program Advisory Committee meets in the Board and Commission room at City Hall, 310 W. Second, 3:30pm.

The Zoning and Platting Commission meets in council chambers at City Hall, 6pm.
