The Dem party hearty crowd are wisely booking rooms at the Driskill Hotel tonight, site of the Dems Election Night Watch Party. Lee Leffingwell told us that he didn't get a room since he doesn't drink - but that everyone else seems to have one. If you imbibe at the free public party: Call a cab, or ask Leffingwell to drive you home. Capital Metro buses today are free. But catch your bus well before midnight, when due to a pledged labor strike (still on at the moment), all CapMetro buses may turn into pumpkins.
