Early voting begins today. This is for the April 8 run-offs to settle the few contests that remained undecided from the March 4 primary election. Early voting runs through Friday.
Democrats around the state must select a candidate for railroad commissioner, choosing between Dale Henry and Mark Thompson, and here in Travis County, they must close the deal on district attorney (Mindy Montford vs. Rosemary Lehmberg) and if you live in east and northeast Travis, Precinct 1 constable (Danny Thomas vs. Janie Serna).
Up in Williamson County, Republicans must finish choosing a candidate for House District 52 (Bryan Daniel vs. Dee Hobbs).
