Alan Sager Steps Down as Travis GOP Chairman
Hair salon tycoon cuts and runs
By Lee Nichols, 4:08PM, Wed. Dec. 19, 2007
After eight years, Alan Sager announced this week that he is stepping down as chairman of the Travis County Republican Party. No doubt the balding Supercuts tycoon is ready kick back after his phenomenal success during that tenure – such as watching the county's House delegation go from half-GOP/half-Dem to completely Dem over the past few election cycles, despite the fact that three of the six districts were reshaped in 2000 specifically to elect Republicans. Congrats on a well-deserved retirement, Alan!
