New videos from Austin's Extraordinary G'z

There are two ways to preview White Denim's highly anticipated new album D, due May 24. The first would be Mixdisc 2, an eclectic sampler of deep cuts and influences the band made available for free download here. Even better is this ridiculous 18-minute live medley at Ghost Room, an encore of sorts from Austin Music Weekly.

League of Extraordinary G’z “We Gon Make It”
Headphones are definitely recommended for this Sonny Castillo-directed video for Austin hip-hop collective (and recent SXSW Pick to Click, the League of Extraordinary G'z. It's a perfect Texas summer jam, taken from the free Concealed Weapons 2 mixtape, that boasts a Half Baked homage, at Subway no less, that's strictly NSFW.

The Black & White Years “Cold”
Kudos to director Eric Power for pulling off this animated video the Black & White Years' “Cold,” which helps illustrate the darker elements of Patterns' retro-futurism. B&WY headline the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians' annual Battle of the Bands fundraiser at Antone's on April 28.
