In April 1999, Sallie Foster moved her eight-year-old business from her stand on Rosewood Avenue to this new and larger space on the corner of 12th and Springdale, where she has expanded both the menu and service for her home-cooked comfort and soul food. Menu items include beef tips over rice, fried chicken, baked chicken, greens, cabbage, and black-eyed peas. Soul food lovers will be pleased to see braised neck bones, pig's feet, and oxtails also among the offerings. She plans to begin serving breakfast and a lunch buffet in the next few months.
