Kathi for Congress

RECEIVED Thu., Feb. 8, 2018

Dear Editor,
As a Democratic activist of the first water for many decades, the article on CD 25 ["The Tides of March," News, Feb. 9] was a little on the biased side! Most of the candidates have been active – in particular, Kathi Thomas – and you gave her a short shrift! She has spent more time on issues for that district than any of the candidates put together. Her daughter was raised at the Capitol. There are pictures of her and her coloring book on the floor of a committee room. Kathi has helped with school bonds, education issues, environmental, health, women, roads, neighborhoods – you name it she has been there. Yes she has a business and has NO conflict of interest as some candidates might have. Evidently she does not embellish her résumé enough to suit the editorial board! I do not live in the district, but I have seen Kathi at work for decades to benefit her district – she is the one that can serve the district and hold her own in D.C.
