Texas Stars Inaugural Season Schedule Released

The excitement coming out Cedar Park is continuing to build as the 2009-2010 American Hockey League regular-season schedule was announced today. The Texas Stars drop the puck on their first-ever regular-season home game Sat., Oct. 3, 7pm vs. their soon-to-be rivals, the San Antonio Rampage. Their season opener is in San Antonio the night before at the AT&T Center, also vs. the Rampage. And don't forget their preseason matchup vs. the NHL Dallas Stars on Wed., Sept. 30, 7pm at the Cedar Park Center.

The Stars will host 40 home games during their 80 game regular season. Their other in-state rival is the Houston Aeros who play in another top-notch facility, the Toyota Center. Twenty-nine of the Stars 40 home games will be played on Thursday-Sunday in their beautiful new arena.
