UT Hires Goestenkors Away From Duke
Conradt replaced by another living legend

Duke head coach Gail Goestenkors has announced she is leaving the Blue Devils to replace Jody Conradt as the head coach of the Texas Longhorns, thus damning all Austin sportswriters to learn how to spell "Goestenkors." UT must have thrown quite a wad of cash at her – it goes without saying that Duke is a destination school for a basketball coach, not a stepping stone. Do we need any further proof that UT has become a basketball school?
UT has not officially announced the hire, but Duke officials have confirmed it with a statement on their Web site.
