Finally, a spring cleaning effort that gets that tricky e-waste covered.

Between single-stream recycling, composting, and peddling vintage clothing, there's probably not much waste left in your house – except e-waste, that is.

Environmental waste – that is, your old cell phones, laptops, e-readers, iPods, radios, VCRs, etc. – is some of the trickiest to get rid of, since you can't (or at least, you shouldn't) just toss it in with the rest of your garbage. Tomorrow, however, Electronic Recycling and Trading is hosting an e-waste pick-up spot at Kealing Middle School in an early celebration of Earth Day.

So bring your items to Kealing between 9am and 3pm tomorrow, Saturday, April 20, and send it on to its next life responsibly. Since we know you're already excited about putting together your 2013 taxes, donation receipts will be given. Check out the complete list of acceptable items below:

desktop computers, computer CRT & LCD monitors, hard drives, keyboards and mice, laptop computers, servers and server room equipment, optical drives, speakers, switches, UPS systems, wires and cables, cell phones, chargers, pagers, PDAs, two-way radios, tablets, e-readers, iPods, PDAs, adding machines, fax machines, photo copiers, laminating machines, printers, scanners, telephones, surge protectors, camcorders, cameras, DVD players, game systems, LCD and overhead projectors, radios, stereos, VCRs, LCD/LED flat screen TVs
