Valentine Ready to 'Face Off'

Austinite on SyFy reality show, starting Wednesday

SyFy's movie effects reality game show Face Off returns to screens this week: But who is that on the trailer, saying, "I will be the next Face Off champion"? Why none other than Matt Valentine, one of the visionaries behind local effects shop and Halloween costumiers Global Fear Enterprises.

Face Off season two begins Wednesday, Jan. 11 at 9pm Central: If you missed the season one, this is the standard challenge-style show format you all know by now, but designed for practical makeup experts (think Top Chef: Texas but with more full-face masks and fake blood.)

We'll have a full interview with Valentine about the contest in our new issue (hitting stands Thursday) but in the mean time, here's a sneak peak at the show.
