New showtime added for local stoner comedy

It's no surprise the audience was over-capacity at Monday night's premiere of the comedy Austin High. Hometown crowds tend to support homemade films. And this hometown? This hometown crowd likes its stoner comedies.
Due to demand, the Austin Film Festival has added another screening of the film this Thursday, Oct. 27, 7pm, at the Texas Spirit Theater.
Written by Kirk Johnson and Will Elliott (of the popular Beef & Sage videos) and directed by Alan Deutsch (Dog the Bounty Hunter), Austin High is cast wall to wall with players from the local comedy and improv scene. Watch the trailer below and see how many faces you can identify. Just, um, you know, don't be surprised if you get something of a contact high.
