Party Down Ultimate Marathon: May make you kinda stalky

They Bring the Party

The Alamo Drafthouse has been hyping for a couple months now their June 26 marathon screening and reunion event of Party Down, the cult comedy Starz declined to renew after two seasons, but they've finally announced what cast will be in attendance, and hot damn you will not be disappointed.

Stars Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr, Megan Mullally, and Ryan Hansen will all be at the event, along with creators Rob Thomas (Austin native, this one, who of course also made the sublime and enduring Veronica Mars), Dan Etheridge and John Enbom.

A ticket guarantees you a seat to ten hours of Party Down viewing at the Ritz, admission to not one but two parties – one pre-marathon at the Highball (featuring Neil Diamond cover band the Diamond Smugglers) and one post-marathon at the Stephen F. Austin – and a special Mondo poster that will no doubt turn you kind of stalky as you hound every cast member to sign it. Everybody just be cool, a'ight?

Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 17, 11am (go here for details), and hey, by the way, this benefits the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.

Don't know what Party Down is? (It's okay. It's called a cult hit for a reason.) See below.
