One Brand to Rule Them All
Tim League reclaims the Alamo Drafthouse mothership
By Kimberley Jones, 12:40PM, Tue. Jun. 1, 2010

Over on the Original Alamo Drafthouse blog, Tim League announced today that he's taking over as CEO of Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas, which means the Original Alamo locations (the Village, the Ritz, and South Lamar) will be merging with the Drafthouse mothership, which the Leagues sold back in 2005.
So what does that mean for right now and for the near future?
"We start work immediately merging the websites, the preshow development and the menu and will start making plans to roll out these changes along with our signature Alamo programming to the other locations shortly after that," League says.
We'll have more in Thursday's print issue; in the meantime, go here to read League's announcement.
