By Kimberley Jones, 11:30AM, Sat. Mar. 13, 2010

Polish artist Leszek Zebrowski already has a relationship with Austin – he’s long designed the poster for the annual Austin Polish Film Festival. Now his local visibility just rocketed: You can currently see his work hanging over the shoulder of 20,000 festivalgoers.
Zebrowksi’s design for the SXSW Film Big Bag is additionally being sold as a poster at Mondo Tees and the SXSW Merchandise booths for $15. You can check out a gallery of his work at Flatstock 24 in the Austin Convention Center Level 1, Exhibit Hall 1. Admission is free, and Zebrowski’s stand number is 926.
Zebrowski will also be teaching a poster workshop on Tuesday, March 23. The hands-on workshop, sponsored by the Austin Polish Society, is free and open to the public, but the class will be limited to 60 students. Reserve a spot for the class by e-mailing your name and phone number to [email protected].
A note to readers: Bold and uncensored, The Austin Chronicle has been Austin’s independent news source for over 40 years, expressing the community’s political and environmental concerns and supporting its active cultural scene.
