Her (Our) Time Has Come
Meet Iceland's new boss, not quite the same as the old boss.
By Kate X Messer, 4:06PM, Sun. Apr. 26, 2009

Meet Johanna Sigurdardottir, Iceland's first female Prime Minister, and the world's first openly gay leader.
Between 1983-93, she served as vice-chair in Iceland's Social Democratic Party. When she ran for leadership of that party in 1994 and lost, she quipped, "My time will come."
Sistah-grrl, your time is now.
